Dear Clash community,
Today, we’re thrilled to announce that the Byte App will officially be joining the Clash family. We are excited to bring two communities together to make a better world for creators. Byte has built a fantastic suite of creator tools that compliments our vision of better creator monetization. We cannot wait to bring these two together for a brighter future.
While this may seem like a surprise to outsiders, it makes perfect sense for creators. Years ago, I got my start on Vine, founded by Byte Founder, Dom Hofmann. Things are really coming full circle now as our worlds collide yet again. Working with Dom to bring the Byte and Clash communities together gives us a monumental opportunity to build truly best-in-class tools for creators everywhere.
Moving forward, tons of wonderful changes will take place on our current platforms. Rest assured, each change will be a step closer to our mission of building a better creator platform, empowering monetization and new experiences for you and your communities. We recognize and appreciate the great communities that have been built in just a few short months. We will continue to support and love our day-one Clash creators, as well as new creators who we can’t wait to meet. In the coming weeks we will have additional information about the transition and even more to share.
In the meantime, both the Byte and Clash App will remain active, however the Clash App will be unavailable for download in the App Store for an extended period. Existing Clash users will still be able to use the app. I’d like to encourage everyone to go download Byte and stay tuned for updates to come.
